I like your international giveaway idea. This sort of book isn’t my jam so I’m going to skip this one. 🙂
Thank you, El! I often felt excluded by Goodreads’ Giveaways because they’re US-only, and there’s so many interesting books I’d love to win but can never participate. So I thought of opening my giveaways to the world for other readers to have a chance. 🙂
Same. The US only giveaways are daft if they are sending ebooks! Those don’t need costly shipping arrangements.
And I found the subscribe button. I swear it wasn’t there the first time I looked. 😳
I imagine it has to do with copyright restrictions, same as why Amazon geolocks certain books and doesn’t let non-US readers buy some eBooks. It’s a complex mess.
Anyway, I’ve coveted so many books from the GR giveaways, but I can never participate because I’m not in the US.
